The patch only works on a FireRed v1 ROM, not on a FireRed v1.1 ROM and it will only work on emulators/flashkits capable of using the GBA BIOS (e.g. No$GBA, NDS-GBA, EZ-Flash etc.). If there is a problem with the package downloaded, contact the team using the Feedback Tab Instructions: 1) Download 7Zip/WinRAR 2) Google 'Lunar IPS Patcher' 3) Download VisualBoyAdvance 4) Download the FireRed v1.0 ROM (Find it yourself.) 5) Use the Lunar IPS GUI to apply the .ips file in the .rar archive to the extracted FireRed .gba file 6) Start VisualBoyAdvance 7) Depending on your Eeprom Setup, you may get 'Battery Not Found' or something along those lines. If you don't get this, skip to Step 10. 8) IF you get this error, or another kind of error similar to this, just go to (in VBA) Options>Emulator>Save Type> Flash 128K. So, I played the patch. Are you supposed to be able to "kill" the trainers, you know, like the legend goes? When you are done fighting, the commands pop up again and you can choose fight or run, if you pick run it ends normally, but if you pick fight, then you curse the trainer and a gravestone replaces them when you return to the screen after leaving. Actually blocked against Brock. Curse doesn't affect his geodude and geodude attacks doesn't work on ghost either, letting you in an infinite loop :p take a look at this part when you can, guys :) Ashley 14/11/2011 02:02

Alright. So is there a certain thing you have to do to start it off? By this i mean, write a certain name? Choose a certain pokemon? When am i exactly suppose to get ghost? Cause in the legend or whatever, i remember it saying that there was a "4th" pokeball to choose from...and well, it's still just the original 3 pokemon. Okay, I can't get any pokéballs, so all I can ever use is my starter and ghost (already in my pokémon menu). When I buy balls I get charged and but they don't show up. Even the balls I was given by oak didn't appear. Was this intentional or is this just a bug? Jaybear 22/02/2012 09:57
