Flipnote Memo coming to 3DS eShop

Beloved Flipnote Studio is stuck on the list of non-transferable titles from DSi to 3DS. But do not fear! Flipnote Memo is here!

Nintendo's Shigeru Miyamoto recently revealed that Nintendo is working on an updated version of Hatena's Flipnote Studio, named "Flipnote Memo". Again, Shigsy stressed that it would be free.

Hopefully, it'll use StreetPass to exchange flipnotes. That would be pretty swell.

i feel that the 3ds is waste of time.. eshop was late on top of all that they got rid of flipnotes. it isnt fair that they took that away. the should at least put in flipnote studio. or somthing. other then that this is exactly like a dsi. without! flipnotes. oh and lets not forget pictochat and the alarm clock. how can i live like this. 250$ of my money gone! lets not forget tax on the eshop games :[ i hate this system

Okay, you people are obviously not using your brains sorry, but as far as I know, Nintendo eShop ONLY updates on Thursdays. This would make the only logical/potentially realistic date in that list the 25 of August. I can't wait for it to, come out and all, but stop for a second and use your brains when stuff like this comes up, please?

And all you 3DS haters, the system might have a slow launch, but it's practically perfect otherwise, IMO.

the info is from the EUROPE nintendo site flipnote page, theres a not under the flipnote info sayin 'A new version for flipnote studio is being made for the 3DS'

...flipnote memo is also believed to come out around the time that the dsi's flipnote studio ends its recent contest. Which is called "make a zelda flipnote." the contest ends on october 14 and like mayimoto said was that flipnote memo will be coming out around august or late september this might even mean early october...this contest might also be flipnote studios last...

on another subject......pictochat was cool but it wasnt efficent and it sucked...whats the point of talking to someone thats a few ft. away from you...thats why the 3ds gave us our friend lists so now we can use that messaging tool at the top right corner to talk to our friends that are far or close by

Flipnote Memo will be from Hatena, i think. Nintendo and Hatena maded Flipnote Studio, so why they will not make Flipnote Memo with the two.

ok look yeah, first of all you need to do some homework befor you trool, other wise you end up looking like a dumbass. Theres a differencs between true 3d and digital 3d. the ps3 has neather, an whil yes it is hd, the 3ds graphics are suprem to any other portable consle. You also must rember the you are comparing a home consle to a porable one which cant really be doen with out showing a bios, therefor cant be said profeshinaly and cant be taken seriosly. and actuly the 3ds can multytask better then the ps3(in my experince)and lastly if you are here to not make valid points on the faults of the 3ds then you can and will be made to go.

I am very exited for Memo. I used Studio every day. Every thursday I hope that I will open the eshop and see it. I know that this will probably not happen because there would probably be some news before it's launch. I doubt it will come on the 8th because of 3D video recorder, but you never know. I wish Nintendo would at least give some news.

I personally like the number 24 better than 27. If you've read The Hitch-Hikers Guide to the Galaxy, you'll know why. Just to keep this on topic, Has it been confirmed yet if there will be an online sharing service (hatena)? I would guess that there would be one, but it would stink for them to release it and not have one. And is "swapnote" a typo or other name for flipnote? Or is it a different program?

OH! but last night i wasnt! i waz running from the cops.(me and my friends ware drinking and lighting stuff on fire over by this canal) it waz fun! until when i whent to go get my bike ,to run from cops, i reallyized someone took it.... ohhh... dude i had to run home. and the bike wasnt mine it was my dads, so hes REALLY mad @ me. "sigh" a night ill never forget :)

Almost a year since it was supposed to come out, and still hasn't come. At OMG WHAT'S UP etc.: Maybe you would be impatient too if you sold your DSi for money for a 3DS like most people. Seriously some people want to make flips but don't want a DSi, because it's kinda old. People have spent hard work saving up money just to have repeatably delayed. No one is really sure if it's a rumor, has been canceled/postponed, or Nintendo is just spending a while to make it amazing.
