Yes, there are better presents, but, and I can’t be the only person – my socks are literally covered in holes. Sometimes there’s more hole than actual sock, most pairs have huge gaps in the soles I could potentially fall out of and hurt myself. So yes, when I see a group of freshly unwrapped socks with no holes in them whatsoever, I feel pretty happy with it.

But there is one type of sock that I loathe as much as any one man can possibly loathe a sock.

This type of sock is the type of sock with the day on it.

Imagine these, but with days on the side

For the first few days – maybe even a week – this might seem like an incredibly witty and hilarious feature that will instantly get you laid as soon as someone looks at your feet. But, like a rollercoaster that goes through your intestines, the enjoyment soon goes to shit.

Picture the scenario; you’re getting dressed in the early hours of a Monday morning (And I’m talking, like 7.15am sort of thing). You’ve got on pants, vest, shirt, trousers, whatever you need, except of course, your socks. So you thrust your hand deep down into your sock drawer or whatever you have, and withdraw a pair of socks, cold in the early morning air.

The socks, on the side of them, say ‘THURSDAY’

And as I previously said:

It’s a Monday.

You can’t wear these socks!! Imagine walking into a meeting at work with a jacket, shirt, vest, tie, trousers, belt, socks and shoes that are all labelled ‘TUESDAY’!! That would just add more stress to the already heart-attack-inducing tension brought about in the mornings by trying to find the right socks. It’s like a fascist regime!! You can’t wear Wednesday socks on Friday, if you do then everyone will turn against you, questioning your sanity, wondering if you own a calendar or can even read!! A well meaning (or evil) relative’s present has accidentally (or purposefully) turned your whole life into a disaster purely because of some words written on the side of a sock!!!!

Assassin's Creed 3 Release Date Revealed

http://www.filmflux.net/4/post/2012/02/assassins-creed-3-release-date-revealed.html

http://www.filmflux.net/4/post/2012/02/assassins-creed-3-release-date-revealed.html#comments

Uncategorized

*sigh* Ubisoft's wildly popular Assassin's Creed series of games has seen yet another addition to the fr [...]

*sigh*

Ubisoft's wildly popular Assassin's Creed series of games has seen yet another addition to the franchise- Assassin's Creed 3. I was researching the internet for speculations and such and this is what I came across, courtesy of the 'Armchair Empire'...

Click Read More to read some of the hilarious crap this guy has come out with...

8 Things I Noticed About The GTA V Trailer

The Importance Of Animals
It's easy to conclude with 100% certainty that there animals will play a central role in GTA V. The trailer opens with a shot of a dog and two seagulls in the opening frame. Note, the number of animals exceeds the number of humans in that same shot. I'd guess that pigeons, which played such an integral role in GTA IV, particularly during the climatic chase through the city, will play an even more pivotal role in its sequel. And there's rumor that at least two missions will put the player in control of a pigeon. PETA should be happy about this move.

Mustard Gas
It's obvious from this series of frames that these migrant labourers are being sprayed with mustard gas, likely from the crop duster piloted by jihadists or possibly domestic terrorists:

This leads me to believe that the protagonist will take on a job to kill not only the labourers but also poison the food supply. It's also possible, and this is thinking outside the box, that not only is mustard gas being sprayed but GMO seeds of high-yield but an extremely carcinogenic strain of wheat are being spread. Time will tell.

Super Strong NPCs
Look at the way this guy is pounding in the "For Sale" sign. It takes a heavy sledgehammer to get a sign like that inserted into the earth. There's really one explanation: GTA V's world is populated by super strong NPC's, which leads me to believe that the main protagonist will develop super powers through the course of the game, including super strength and the ability to kill hookers with his mind.

The Plane
Without a landing strip in sight, this one is a no brainer. This plane belongs to the criminal syndicate that the protagonist will work for (and probably against) and there's a runway INSIDE one of the buildings just up ahead. The runway is actually a corkscrew design which allows the runway to fit easily inside the building.

Holes In The World
Check this frame. What the hell is that?
The easy answer is that Rockstar goofed up here. They've tipped their hand as to the intergalactic nature of GTA V. This is very clearly a space-time dilation point, which is bathing the entire city in cosmic rays. That accounts for all the super powers late in the game. The protagonist will be given a decision at the end of the game: leave the dilation point open and the world is destroyed, or close it and everybody loses their superpowers. (Any post-launch DLC will assume the player closed the dilation point.)

Sanitation Department On Strike

Here are three simple examples to prove that the protagonist will be involved in busting a strike by sanitation workers. It now appears that only the first city, which is based on Los Angeles , and it's surrounding areas will apper in the game.

2) You Will Visit the Same Areas we saw in San Andreas *
This is true. If you watch the trailer carefully you will see references to the following locations and more:
- Downtown Los Santos - Based on Downtown LA
- Vinewood - Based on Hollywood
- Vespucci Beach - Based on Venice Beach
- Pleasure Pier - Based on Santa Monica Pier
- East Los Santos - Based on East LA
- Rodeo - Based On Rodeo Drive, Beverly Hills
- Little Seoul - Based on Korea Town
  Plus Many More...

3) Many Of The Buildings In Los Santos Will Be Based On Real Life LA Buildings*
Like in liberty city, many of the landmarks can be located in real life LA, such as the Citigroup Center, Figueroa Hotel, US Bank Tower, Walk of fame, and the famous Whisky A GO GO Bar.

4) You Will Be Able to Visit Los Santos' Surrounding Areas*
Although GTA V will be mainly set in Los Santos, it will also feature rural areas outside of the city. We know this as at their press conference Rockstar said, "Grand Theft Auto V heads to the city of Los Santos and surrounding hills, countryside, and beaches." This is also evident in the trailer where several locations are depicted including Mount Chiliad and a wind farm situated in a wide meadow.
Despite Being confined to one city and it's surrounding areas, Rockstar promises the "largest and most ambitious game." Rumour as it that Los Santos alone is at least four times larger than Liberty City.

5) It's Not Going to Be The Same GTA Experience Were Used To... *
Let me expand a little... You will still be stealing cars, killing people and chasing after hookers but the structure may be a bit different to what we are all used to. Sam houser, founder of Rockstar Games said,"Grand Theft Auto V is another radical reinvention of the Grand Theft Auto Universe". The press release called it " A bold new direction in open world freedom, storytelling, mission based gameplay and online multiplayer". The question is, What Direction...

6) Planes Will Make a Return*
Planes, unfortunately, were absent from GTA IV given that it would take less than a minute to get from one side to the other if you were piloting one.The trailer for GTA V however features many different aircraft including Airliners, Crop dusting planes, Jets and even a blimp. Could this suggest something about the size of the map... Who knows...

*- Starred Items are complete (intentional) bullshit. For the actual rumours, please see below.

Now to finish with I thought that I might as well inform you of some things that are not necessarily fact, but come close to it... That's right people, Here they are...

The Not So Crappy Rumours:
1) You will be able to enter many of the buildings...
2) Property Ownership will return
3) GTA V could support multiple protagonists
4) GTA V will use Motion Scan
5) It will contain some RPG elements
6) Old charters will make a return
7) 6 Star wanted level will return
8) We will be playing GTA V sometime in 2012...

So there it is people...
