Frosty!
I’m sorry, I lied. I wasn’t really back that time. But Phoenix Wright got me out of it. We at Filmflux can be called many things, and one of them is festive. That has nothing to do with why I’m reviewing Shogun 2 however, and the real reason is that the Steam Christmas Sale is going to leave you wondering where to spend your hard earned dosh, and I want to nudge you in the right direction.

BOOM! I'M BACK! WITH REGULAR REVIEWS NOW! ONE A WEEK! IF I DON'T, SUE ME! I HAVE PHOENIX WRIGHT ON MY SIDE! Except next week. I got exams and shit. ~Jason
All caps aside, I really am back. I've started playing alot more of my PC games in my somewhat extensive Steam Library, and there's enough material in there to review once a week until the end of 2012. I'll call this "PC Funtime", and there will be good reviewing, and glorious screenshots. NEVER forget the screenshots! I'm kickstarting this off with a cheap but amazing game: Killing Floor.

So, judging by the comments on that post, I have decided to completely eschew the Saints Row:The Third review, and plow on with my Dota2 hero Previews. So... now I've got the exciting task of playing all these heroes in order to bring you those reviews. I may lose my (metaphorical) life. I will probably gain 20 pounds. But I will do it for You, my loyal readers.
Greetings, my loyal disciples of the Order of Chocobo. It is I, Jason, your resident weirdo and Minigun enthusiast, coming live at 'cha from my hovel in the Capital Wasteland(if you get the reference, comment on who says this). Nah, I'm messin' with you, I live in a standard house in a standard area of the world. Yeah, my house is standard. But that is all that is standard about me. Anyway, on with the post.
Team Fortress is a team-based (obviously) First person shooter game made by the Valve Corporation for the PC, XBOX, and PS3 consoles. Its unique art style and team based gameplay have won it numerous awards, including PC Gamers’ most fun game of the Year Award. In the game, the player can choose from a selection of 9 different classes of Mercenary, who are being hired by two corporations called RED and BLU in an endless war against each other(the teams names count towards their colour) in a variety of different environments(snow, mountains etc.).
In Part 2/3 of this Team Fortress 2 Classes Explanation, Jason will be explaining the roles of the Demoman and the Heavy, in incredible detail!

Jason's Review of Bioshock progresses here! If you haven't read the first part, click here to correct your mistake before moving on to the second part of this review.
Bioshock is an action-adventure and horror First Person Shooter in an underwater dystopian setting, made by Irrational Games, formerly known as 2K Boston. In the game(which was developed for XBOX 360, PS3, PC), the player is encouraged to use everything they see in the highly detailed and interactive environment of Rapture(more on Rapture later) to dispatch their enemies. The game also features a variety of choices that are tailored specifically to challenge the players moral views; are they sentimental players who care about the virtual situation, or are they players that see the game as it is(that is to say, fictional), and simply seek the rewards from seeking the morally wrong path(s)? The game was very positively received by critics in the year of its release, winning the "Game of the Year for PC 2007".
So. Friday. The day we all look forward to and the song that most of us despise with a burning passion. I for one, don't mind it(I think its catchy), but I, as with almost every other member of the YouTube community, noticed it's incredible rise in infamy and then it's abrupt fall. Lets look at the history of this legendary/despicable song. - February 10-The single is released on Youtube by Trizzy66, and receives 4000 views, enough to please Miss Black. A respectable amount of views.
- March 11- A Twitter post by Comedian Michael J.Nelson and a blog post by tosh.0 titled "Songwriting isn't for everyone" turns the video into a viral hit.
- March 12- I, Jason, hear this song and cry for a minute.
- March 21- One of the most popular parodies, "Brock's Dub", posted by McGoiter is posted on YouTube. As of 25 June, the video has approx 23 million views, 12.5% of the original.
- March 29- Usurps Justin Bieber's "Baby"'s place as "Most Disliked Youtube Video"
- June 15- The video has gained more than 166 million views and has surpassed Justin Bieber's "Baby" in terms of dislikes.
- June 16- After 4 months and 4 days approx. Friday is removed from YouTube due to a "Copyright claim by Rebecca Black"
So. That was Friday's run, or at the very least the key points in it's metaphorical life. So, we must ask ourselves, why did the infamous video go down? Well, talk on the Internet is that although numerous royalties have been earnt from Friday's success(albeit infamous success) from merchandise such as iTunes singles and the Youtube Revenue sharing Program, none have been received by Black's family from Ark. And so my investigation is reinstated. What is this insinuating about Ark? We were already having some doubts about the infrastructure of their company and their legitimacy in contrast to their costs. At the very least, we can safely say that Friday is gone now. Forever.
