Hello there, Earthlings!
Yes, it is me, Harrison, the Vulcan/Time lord/android/mad scientist! Here to talk about one of MY favourite genres.
Having just watched the latest 'Doctor Who' episode: 'The Girl Who Waited', I feel inspired to share some of my own personal thought and opinions on all things Science Fiction!
There is a family of five yellow people who have become household names. If you haven't heard of them, then you aren't worthy of being called a "human being". They go by the names of Homer, Marge, Bart, Lisa and Maggie. They live at 742 Evergreen Terrace, Springfield. They have a dog called Santa's Little Helper and a cat called Snowball II. That's right, they are THE SIMPSONS.
The Simpsons has been a MASSIVE part of my life, as well as a MAJOR influence on modern society/pop culture. Not only is the longest running sit-com EVER (with almost 500 episodes over 22 Seasons) it is also the most AWESOME. END OF STORY. So it was a brilliant surprise when about 5 years ago in the cinema I saw, for the first time, a trailer for The Simpsons...MOVIE!! I literally E-X-P-L-O-D-E-D with excitement from that moment on, and I didn't even care about the film that I was there to see! But even after the trailer there was, like, a 100 YEAR WAIT before the film actually came out, but even THAT wasn't enough to kill my excitement.
This is the trailer for a project being made by Diamond Productions called 'Layers'.
It is set in the year 2257 when the Earth has been divided into 3 separate levels by the world government. In the aftermath of a war a small group of people gather to escape a forthcoming event that has the potential to shake up their lives even more than the layers did. Age certificate- 12a.
We will most likely post the full movie up here on Filmflux sometime next week. Don't forget that you can 'Like' Diamond Productions on Facebook!

Please welcome a new member to the Filmflux Crew! Harrison is a funny, crazy and fairly philosophical....in his own way. However, he refuses to anything unless you do what he says above. He is inspired by the likes of Charles Darwin and Homer Simpson, an avid follower of musicians such as "My Chemical Romance" and "Sex Bob-Omb" (Who they? -Chris) and likes to read such horrible books like "Of Mice and Men".
So, give him a warm welcome as he starts up, and remember to be awesome!
-Chris
