The day we all look forward to and the song that most of us despise with a burning passion. I for one, don't mind it(I think its catchy), but I, as with almost every other member of the YouTube community, noticed it's incredible rise in infamy and then it's abrupt fall. Lets look at the history of this legendary/despicable song.
So. That was Friday's run, or at the very least the key points in it's metaphorical life. So, we must ask ourselves, why did the infamous video go down? Well, talk on the Internet is that although numerous royalties have been earnt from Friday's success(albeit infamous success) from merchandise such as iTunes singles and the Youtube Revenue sharing Program, none have been received by Black's family from Ark. And so my investigation is reinstated. What is this insinuating about Ark? We were already having some doubts about the infrastructure of their company and their legitimacy in contrast to their costs. At the very least, we can safely say that Friday is gone now. Forever. Crazy Jason LUV YA <3 Sony has just released a new update, bringing the version number to 3.66. "System stability during use of PS3 format software and network services has been improved," -says Sony Again, no prizes for guessing which "network services" Sony are talking about here. -Chris I know this is a bit different to my usual Thursday post but I felt prompted by the release of the first actual photographs from The Hobbit to gather up some info on the films (I loved The Lord of The Rings trilogy too). If you didn't already know I should mention that it will actually be two movies. The first, An Unexpected Journey, is scheduled for a December 14th release in 2012 and the second, There and Back Again should be out on December 13th of the following year. Some of the most interesting news over the last few months has been the casting with such actors as Martin Freeman, James Nesbitt, Stephen Fry and more recently Evangeline Lilly and Barry Humphries. The films will of course be directed by Peter Jackson with a lot of actors from the LOTR trilogy making appearances, most notably Ian McKellen as Gandalf the Grey. In other news a new project is being developed in association with Filmflux. It will be a filmed feature and will hopefully be posted to the site. More details soon. -Sam. As of today, a corporate email sent to all stores has informed store-owners and employees to prepare for the discontinuation of Nintendo's DS Lite console, as Nintendo's last shipment of Lites approaches. Truly, it was a legendary console. Underpowered, but huge fun to play with - this console hosted such gems as "Dragon Quest IX" and "Super Mario 64" and it had two screens! R.I.P, Lite. You will be missed. -Chris In a surprising move, Nintendo has announced that it is siding up with Fuji TV and Nippon Television to bring full 3D TV Shows to their 3DS Console! To call upon its official name, "Itsu no Ma ni Terebi,", the service will use SpotPass to download TV content to the handheld. Yet again, Nintendo will most certainly deprive the European regions of this development. We never get anything good. -Chris ![]() PS Vita Announced At E3 2011 At E3 2011 Sony announced thier latest hand held gaming console, The Playstation Vita. This is the successor to the amazing PSP which impressed everyone on the hardware side of things, but struggled to please with it's line up of games. I mean what use is an amzing console without games?? I myself had a PSP but traded it in for a DS Lite due to the pitiful arrangement of games on the market. This time round Sony hopes to change that and already announced 13 games for the PS Vita; 1) ModNation™ Racers (working title) Experience fun-filled kart racing at your fingertips. 2) Everybody's Golf™ (working title) Hit the course as everybody's favourite golf series comes to the fore on PS Vita. 3) LittleBigPlanet™ (working title) Take Sackboy with you on an adventure powered by your own imagination. 4) Virtua Tennis™ 4 The dazzling console tennis experience in the palm of your hand. 5) Uncharted Golden Abyss™ Uncover the dark secret behind the massacre of a Spanish expedition to Central America 400 years ago. ![]() Little Deviants on the PS Vita 6) Little Deviants Unleash your inner deviant on PS Vita. 7) Wipeout 2048 (working title) The future of racing – at your fingertips. Sony have also announced other games for the PS Vita including Bioshock and many more. Features of the PS Vita
