After Game Freak's Junichi Masuda's sly teasing earlier this month, the first ever sequel in the main Pokémon Franchise has been announced on today's (Japanese-only) episode of Pokémon Smash.
The game's contents haven't really been pushed out to the public yet, apart from the fact that the two main legendary Pokémon, Zekrom and Reshiram, will have new forms, as well as a new Pokémon Masuda affectionately refers to as "Black/White Kyurem". Masuda has left us in the dark about the game's specifics, and as a result we do not know whether the game will be a direct sequel or a modification- a la Pokémon Platinum.
Astute gamers who reckon that The Pokémon Company and Game Freak are running out of colours to choose for new Pokémon games have presumably had their emails left unanswered.
The two games (Pocket Monsters Black 2/ Pocket Monsters White 2) will be released in Japan this June, with a NA region release coming soon. The EU and AUS regions have been left in the dark at the time of posting.
Activision has confirmed that it's movie tie-in game for the next Spiderman movie will arrive on the 26th of June 2012, a bit ahead of the actual movie's release (July the 3rd) for PS3, Xbox 360, 3DS, DS and Wii.
Why not take a gander at this new trailer showing off Rhino? It's pretty swell.
Dreamcast sensation Jet Set Radio seems to be making a reboot on XBLA + PSN, according to this new teaser trailer from Sega!
The awesome massive cel-shaded, music-jammed, graffiti-driven, Shibuya graphics-madhouse of a game has been announced by Sega to make an appearance on XBLA + PSN this summer, as fans wait with bated breath to see if Hideki Naganuma's ace soundtrack- that made the game what it is- will be available on the XBLA + PSN ports, in retrospect to the Crazy Taxi HD soundtrack, which omitted ace tunes a la Offspring and Bad Religion. Sega's teaser, seen above, shows nothing apart from the Jet Set Radio (Jet Grind Radio in NA region) logo and a musical excerpt from the orginal game. Check after the break for a gameplay video of the original game on Dreamcast.
These socks are akin to communism, says Ed.
People say that socks are lame Christmas or Birthday presents.
I actually disagree. Yes, there are better presents, but, and I can’t be the only person – my socks are literally covered in holes. Sometimes there’s more hole than actual sock, most pairs have huge gaps in the soles I could potentially fall out of and hurt myself. So yes, when I see a group of freshly unwrapped socks with no holes in them whatsoever, I feel pretty happy with it.
But there is one type of sock that I loathe as much as any one man can possibly loathe a sock.
This type of sock is the type of sock with the day on it.
*sigh*

The newest online report of Nikkei seems to point that Nintendo is planning to revive other publishers' long-lost and forgotten titles on Nintendo 3DS as part of a strategy to establish strong titles for the system, mentioning a strange Sega Dreamcast game by Yoot Saito as an example of this, the 1999 "Seaman".
In a truly odd but exhilarating fashion, Electronic Arts will be launching Mass Effect 3 copies into space using real weather balloons in five different cities across the globe, namely London, Paris, San Francisco, Las Vegas and Berlin, around a week before general release. Each game will have a GPS tracking device attached to it so that intrepid fans will be able to track its trajectory back to Earth at masseffect.com.
As of today, Nintendo has acquired the closed-source video codec provider Mobiclip, for the express purpose of using its video compression technology, which has already been used in a variety of Nintendo platforms, i.e Game Boy Advance and selected Nintendo DS titles, on its 3DS and upcoming Wii U consoles.
Nintendo announced that they had acquired the Paris-based company with offices worldwide 'last year' and has only just now enlightened the public on the acquisition.
And so here it is. Gathering more attention from a single trailer than most could have hoped for, Grand Theft Auto V's debut footage threw up so many questions that have led the gaming community not knowing what to do with itself. Recently there has been lots of speculation about what to expect in this open world shooter. So here at filmflux we have decided to bring a nice little post separating the fact, from the utter crap. I thought I'd kick things off with some humour... I was researching the internet for speculations and such and this is what I came across, courtesy of the 'Armchair Empire'...
