Seen from this video from Youku, the notorious R4iDSN Team behind the R4iDSN flashcart for the DSi have, what seems to be, hacked open the 3DS's DSi Mode. The video above shows them inserting their R4i into a new Aqua Blue 3DS on the same day of its release in Japan, the 26th of February 2011. It is shown to be playing New Super Mario Bros. in Japanese.

  Whether this video is faked or not is still the question. It certainly looks genuine, and we all know that the R4iDSN team certainly have the expertise to do it. Assuming that they have indeed hacked the DSi Mode on the 3DS, this means that Nintendo are going to face genuine embarassment - they've been hyping their new security features and learning from past failures on Wii and DS homebrew enabling and flashcarts, and a team manages to break their hype claims on the first day. Hmm.

Over at the forums, he is known as hydraliskmaster or the 'One-Man CARAMELLDANSEN APOCALYPSE',  he will be taking care of our Facebook page, FluxLive (accessible in the orange toolbar at the bottom of your screen) and administrating the forum.

Other things to note- he is South Korean and likes games a lot.

He will also be reviewing games from Valve, starting with Half Life 2.

"One of these things which have really troubled me with Megaman 3 is the famous ‘rock-paper-scissors’ system, in which each of the bosses are weak to at least one of the boss-obtained powers. Don’t read me wrong, I think it’s a great feature. But the great downside to it is that it’s not as simple as ‘Waterman beats Fireman’ or ‘Birdman beats Insectman’. It is almost totally random and reasonless, such as ‘Gemini Man beats Needleman’, ‘Cutman beats Elecman’. There is no hint or clue as to what power is best to use, before or during the level. It’s all about trial and error, which makes the game tedious and repetitive if you choose not to toil with your default blaster. Also, in all games, there is at least one boss which is unspeakably annoying in his jump attacks, which are sometimes unavoidable. Of course, even touching the boss deals you damage, so you can imagine the frustration when he bounces all over you with no chance for you to get away!"
